        Namaskar Swati Deviji,

I do not understand Marathi, but roughly gather that you are asking what the meaning of the MAYABIJA or the LAJJABIJA is. Those are the two codes for the bija you refer to, and because these bijas are truly most sacred, a series of codes or names have been devised so that they are never repeated in vain.

Deviji, it would have been so auspicious to have you near so that speech might have been possible with you face to face. Much of what you ask requires a context and cannot be delineated in this space. But suffice to say that your own holy body and that of Mother India, are the same holy yantra, which means the physical aspect of mantra. Here is not the place to go into the what mantra is.

Mother India can be understood through 51 interlocking triangles or a SriChakra, and so is every woman’s physical and 6-fold body. From the holy Hingulakhya [Hinglaj] tirtha to Kamakhya tirtha, a line may be drawn that forms the base of 2 triangle, one facing North, the other South. The Northern apex is at the Sri Sharada Pitha, and this triangle is conceived of as dark blue in color, and the sacred bija is the kurcha, the same one found at the end of the Buddhist mantra Om mani padme h…. This triangle represents nimesha, or withdrawal from samsara, Shambhu Shankara “pulling back”. The Southern triangle, with the apex at Sri Kanyakumarika, has the color a striking red, and the Lajja or Maya bija. This represents the UnmeSha movement, samsara, or reality, “coming forth”, or even the movements of pravrtti in a person, moving “outward”.

Consider the difference between the statements: I am This and This I am. In the first, the “I”ness is stressed, and is called the Purna-ahanta, the full-egoity, and in the second, the Thisness of creation is more prominent, and is called IDANTA, from idam, this, and tA, condition. So, your bija is the bija for the IDANTA to burst forth. In the OMKARA, you have the thin crescent moon, with the bindu. All bijas are bindu-garbha, their womb is the bindu, and the bindu is their womb. Imagine the bindu rolling like a pendulum up and down the crescent, and Lord Shamkara debating, Shall I retreat into the I-ness, or Shall I burst out into the Thisness of creating Reality [not creating material, but creating Reality, sat!] Thos aspect is the Lord, Sadashiva. When the “Go” decision comes, the bindu flows OUT, becomes VISARGA, VI+ SRJ, to create! One bindu, . becomes :!! And thence, the Nada, and Reality begins to come into being, Dikbrahman, Kala, desha, Akasha, prana-manas. All of this outward aspect we can variously call Ishana, Narayana, or Adya. Facing back towards Shambhu remains the reflexive consciousness, Vimarshini, Uma, shaktitamA Uma kumarih! Can you imagine a damaru in from of Shambhu’s “face”? The side of the damaru facing away from Shambu is the projecting force, Adya, the Primal, and you can call it by various names according to your needs and liking. The other face of the damaru facing Shambhu is like a mirror, reflecting back to Shambhu ‘his’ own reflexive consciousness, vimarsha. That is Uma.

This Adya, the Sole Supreme Reality, now moves slightly, kimcit kSubhitA rUpA sA, cicchakti cinmahArNave! “And the Spirit of God moved upon the Dark Waters” Exactly so! This tiny agitation leads to the form, rishis have cognized in their hearts as PARAMESHWARI, then to Kali, Tara, then Tripurasundari, Bhuvaneshwari and so forth. All the attributes and functions of each are minutely described. WHY? To help the conceptual mind grasp what is actually beyond comprehension, lies beyond asti and nasti. There is the Brahman of continuous change, and the Brahman beyond change, and That which is beyond existence and nonexistence, the Varuni Shunyata, the Vaivasvata Yama, and so many other epithets.

These bijas are there to help the conceptual mind move BACK up the waterfall, from the conceptual, discrete thought processes, that depend on SEQUENTIAL sound, word and meaning and are like pieces of a shattered mirror, back to the Nada Brahma, and thence into the Omkara, the prime bija, and thence into the Unknowable.

Your question has not been answered but some points have been raised that you might like to approach a sound practitioner of tantra or the Shaiva agamas, and seek their advice. Namo Narayanaya.

This may not be the best place to ask this, but, I’d like to find an agent/advisor that was my parents’ fiduciary. I’m really frustrated over this at the moment because I want to work with the same agent but, i can’t find them in any of the local directories online. Carlton Financial Group – 106 Mission Ct #701 Franklin, TN 37067 phone (615) 794-2536 Is there a directory or service that makes it easy for me to find this company?
