समागताः सर्वयोधाः पृथिव्यां राजानाश्च क्षितिपालैः समेताः॥
पर्यस्तेयम् = पर्यस्ता + इयम् (surrounded + this)
Surrounded is this earth, ripe in time for Duryodhana; with a desire to fight Pandavas are gathered all warriors of the earth and kings and with the protector of this earth.
